About the Role:

The Full-Time Front Desk Agent at Lithia Springs Resort plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for guests. This position is responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out. The Front Desk Agent will handle reservations, answer inquiries, and provide information about the resort and surrounding areas, contributing to a positive guest experience. Additionally, this role involves coordinating with other departments to ensure that guest needs are met promptly and effectively. Ultimately, the Front Desk Agent is the face of the resort, setting the tone for guest interactions and ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a front desk or receptionist role within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with reservation management software.
• Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse range of guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
• Handle guest inquiries and requests, providing information about resort amenities and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and resolve any issues.
• Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing phone calls, emails, and reservation systems.

Skills:

The required skills for this position, such as strong communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential for building rapport with guests and ensuring their needs are met. Customer service experience will be utilized daily to handle inquiries and resolve issues, contributing to a positive guest experience. Organizational skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks, including reservations and guest requests, while maintaining a tidy front desk area. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with reservation management software, will enhance efficiency in processing bookings and managing guest information. Bilingual abilities can significantly improve communication with a diverse clientele, ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and understood.
