About the Position
The Dietary Kitchen Manager is a vital role within our healthcare organization, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care through the provision of nutritious and appealing meals. As a leader in our culinary services team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals to patients and residents in accordance with their individualized dietary plans.
- Collaborate with the Dietitian to ensure that all menu planning and food preparation meet the nutritional needs of our patients and residents.
- Supervise and manage a team of up to ten (10) employees in the dietary department.
- Responsible for staff performance improvement, budget development/monitoring, and personnel management.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of experience in food service management, preferably in an institutional setting.
- Two years of supervisory experience required.
- Must hold or obtain Certified Dietary Manager Certification within three months.
