We are looking for an eager, initiative-taker with a strong drive to learn to become our next Assistant Project Manager. As an integral part of our project teams, you will collaborate with Project Managers, field personnel, trade partners, owners, and architects to facilitate and execute the project administration needs for projects that are starting up, under construction, and closing out including:
- Preparing subcontracts and purchase orders
- Maintaining project drawings and specifications
- Maintaining project RFI's, Submittals, Change Requests, and Change Orders

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Efficiently and accurately utilize technology, project software, and forms/templates to support administrative aspects of project management functions
- Understand general project life-cycle and ensure coordination takes place to keep a project moving forward
- High energy and drive to continually collaborate and coordinate with project teams, trade partners, owners, and internal and external stakeholders to disseminate information in a timely manner to keep projects moving forward
- Ability to organize and accurately maintain a high volume of records and project/contract documents such as contract changes, change orders, RFIs, submittals, drawings, contact lists, permits, etc.
- Correctly interpret drawings, product data, and shop drawings to visualize end product
- Analyze and interpret financial impacts of job costing, vendor management, and financial risk
- Review, analyze, and interpret data to make educated recommendations and decisions
- Independently research and ask the right questions to make decisions and accomplish tasks
- Maintain accountability for problems or mistakes and work collaboratively with others to create solutions
- This position works primarily out of the North Point Builders office but may require working on an active jobsite
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Include:
- Experience providing administrative support, multi-tasking, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment required; Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- High level of skill in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to take direction and execute based on verbal and written direction from others, as well as act proactively without direction when appropriate
- Expert attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to grasp complex concepts and adapt previous knowledge and lessons learned to solve current challenges
- Resourceful, energetic, and has a keen sense of urgency to solve problems and get things done
- Expert time-management and prioritization skills to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively with a team, and communicate effectively and professionally, in person and via email
- Motivated and energized by new challenges and overcoming obstacles to move projects forward
- Confident and resilient, acquired by learning from achievements AND mistakes
- A strong customer focus and a passion for helping both internal and external customers
