What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at North Point Hospitality Group?
As a member of the North Point Hospitality team, the Bartender serves bar patrons by preparing beverages as ordered, engaging and assisting them as needed, maintaining stock, and ensuring that the bar area is clean and organized.
Essential Functions:
- Engages with Bar patrons, creates and serves cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Monitors Bar stock inventory and requests replenishment of supplies as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness and follows OSHA standards for proper storage and handling of food and beverage items.
- Ensures collection of proper payment.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of barkeeping techniques to create commonly ordered drinks.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to maintain timeliness and attendance.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the rest of the bar and hotel staff.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional bar area. This role routinely uses standard restaurant equipment. High level of interaction with internal and external customers.

This position requires the ability to frequently lift supplies, trays, beverage containers, up to 20 pounds. This job requires constant standing or walking for varying lengths of time. Occasional kneeling, pushing, & pulling. Occasional ascending or descending stairs. This job will require use of fingers and hands, moving them quickly to handle food, dishes, glassware, and merchandise.
