As a member of the hotel Management Team, the Director/ Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the proper staffing and effective operation of all housekeeping functions for the property, including ensuring adherence to Company standards.
Essential Functions:
- Manages work activities of North Point Hospitality Laundry and Housekeeping staff
- Works closely with contract labor management partners to provide feedback on quality of work
- Uses technology for communication, scheduling and operational functions
- Ensures North Point Employees complete training as required including safety training and standard operating procedures to all housekeeping personnel as directed by management
- Ensures adherence to company quality standards by inspecting rooms, including deep cleans
- Distributes keys and work assignments to staff
- Addresses guest complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment
- Selects and schedules housekeeping personnel
- Assures housekeeping staff is practicing efficient and effective procedures
- Monitors linen and guest supply inventory; places supply orders and reconciles invoices
- Using technology, records and reports any maintenance repairs to maintenance staff; records repair information in maintenance log
- Completes follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms
- Assumes function of Housekeeper as necessary
- Takes control of lost and found items as appropriate
Supervisory Responsibility: Manages North Point Hospitality Housekeeping and Laundry Staff
Work Environment: Semi-professional work environment which requires uniform dress. May interact with guests as well as other employees or vendors. May require exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals.

Requirements:
- High school or equivalent education/experience required.
- At least five years hotel housekeeping experience. Three years supervisory/management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with FOSSE strongly desired
- Marriott/AC Hotel experience strongly preferred
- Experience working alongside contract labor strongly preferred
Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and lifting up to 25 lbs. May also be required to use close vision, both fine and gross motor skills
