Assistant Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with other team members.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents or clients regarding maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
• Execute welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications as required.

Experience

• Proven experience in a maintenance role, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to perform electrical repairs.
• Experience in supervising or leading teams is preferred.
• Background in customer service, particularly in a residential setting, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
