North Point Technology is seeking an experienced TS / SCI Cleared UI / UX Project Engineer to become a member of the program's Agile Software Development Team. The program's mission is to provide visualization services that facilitate access to GEOINT data and products in an online, on-demand environment to agencies across the Federal Government. The program's suite of services are provided to the community in various formats to allow integration across a wide variety of client technologies and applications. The program also provides applications that can be used to visualize GEOINT as well as additional utilities & technologies that aid in visualization. Responsibilities for this position include being responsible for the development of system architectures, including complex systems, and systems design activities.
Applicants should be self-motivated, curious problem solvers with experience with the following tools, processes and technologies :
Required Skills :
- 5 years of experience in UI / UX design, development, or a related field.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee project tasks distributed across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, or InVision.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with design systems and style guides and knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices (i.e. Section 508 Compliance).
