We are looking for a dental assistant to join our team! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in an orthodontics office? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Orthodontic assistant preferred, but we are willing to train a dental assistant to grow into an orthodontic assistant role and gain experience in the orthodontics specialty field. Salary will be based on experience and certification. We would be willing to provide training and mentorship from our experienced clinical staff and Doctor.
Job duties include:
- Instrument Sterilization
- Adjusting archwires
- Assisting the doctor with procedures
- Setting up and breaking down chairs
- Taking panoramic and cephalometric radiographs
- Photography for initial, progress, and final records
- Itero Scans / 3D scans
- Pour models and fabricate retainers and bleaching trays
- Practice Infection Control and adhere to HIPAA and Safety Standards
- Keep office, clinical, and patient areas clean and presentable
- Participate in marketing events
- Experience with social media a PLUS
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel a PLUS
- Helping out front desk as needed
- Scanning documents and maintaining patient charts as needed
Hours:
- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- one Saturday per month, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Clinical day or Marketing Event)
- 27-32 hours per week
