What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Assistant Boys' Volleyball Coach position at North Providence High School?
The Boys' Assistant Volleyball Coach at North Providence High School reports directly to the Principal and Athletic Director and is to perform all coaching and related duties as described.
Applicants must be available for duty during all times established by the Principal’s Committee of Athletics for the particular sport involved to the completion of the schedule. This will include any tournaments for which the team might be eligible. Practice sessions are held daily.
Duties:
1.Teach fundamentals and skills.
2.Organize and supervise practice sessions.
3.Provide for care and prevention of injuries.
4.Conform to rules established by the Athletic Director.
5.Teach rules and regulations of the sport.
6.Display good sportsmanship.
7.Maintain control of all persons under supervision.
8.Coordinate with the Athletic Director on all matters pertaining to the sport..
9.Be certain that all candidates have had a physical examination.
10.Submit list of names to Principal’s office for eligibility clearance.
11.Assist in the issuing, maintaining and collecting of equipment.
12.Assist in the budget and maintain an inventory of existing supplies.
13.Supervise team members at all times.
