Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the School Principal with all day-to-day school operations including the supervision of all assigned staff, students, visitors, agency staff, etc.
- Assist the School Principal with evaluating all assigned staff.
- Assist the School Principal with managing the teacher/staff hiring process.
- Assist the School Principal with establishing and maintaining a positive school climate.
- Assist the School Principal with supervising instruction and assessments aligned to state and national standards.
- Assist the School Principal with the revision of curricula as necessary.
- Assist the School Principal with monitoring student progress by frequently analyzing assessment data.
- Assist the School Principal with facilitating school improvement planning.
- Assist the School Principal with the adherence of state and federal program regulations.
- Assist the School Principal with implementing a school-wide positive behavior program.
- Assist the School Principal with coordinating and supervising safety procedures and practices.
- Assist the School Principal with implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to provide targeted interventions based on individual student need.
- Plan and coordinate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff as necessary or requested by the School Principal.
- Attend professional development opportunities and keep abreast of current instruction and assessment practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations for administration, school committee, and stakeholders as required.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular communication and support.
- Foster partnerships and communicate effectively with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance program resources and services.
- Responsible for counseling and disciplining students as necessary.
- Collaborate with families to provide comprehensive support across educational, behavioral, and social emotional domains.
- Attend and supervise students at school and community functions.
- Attend required administrative meetings during and after standard working hours.
- Assume other generally related responsibilities as may be assigned by the School Principal, Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent and/or their designee.

- Contracted position (Non-bargaining unit)
Salary : $106,000 - $110,000
