Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Responsible for daily course maintenance. Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent or Foreman, operates light motorized equipment and trucks on the golf course and do related work as needed for golf course maintenance.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Knowledge of tools, landscaped area maintenance work.
- Operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
- Knowledge of agronomy, turf grass science and the rules of golf.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Mows greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens and other areas not accessible with gang mowers; rakes sand traps with power rakes.
- Maintains gasoline, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily; reports equipment problems and failures to equipment manager immediately.
- Performs basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Assistant Superintendent or Equipment Manager; and returns equipment to its designated location at the maintenance facility. Utilizes loaders to remove dirt, debris and other materials.
- May occasionally operate gang units in the absence of Equipment Operator.
- May be asked to change pins and tee markers.
- Performs other duties as directed by Assistant Superintendent and or Foreman.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
- On occasion must be able to do heavy lifting and physical activity for up to 12 hours.
- Must be able to work from the ground at times.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform tasks in multiple types of conditions hot, cold, noisy, dusty and rainy as needed.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of golf course maintenance or related experience
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses and Special Requirements
- Valid driver’s license

Schedule
- Week 1: Mon-Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Week 2: Mon-Wed: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm / Friday 6:00 am – 3:00 pm / Sat-Sun: 6:30 am – 10:30 am
Salary : $18 - $21
