What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at North Reading Public School District?
The North Reading Public Schools is seeking an experienced Food Service Worker to work at the Secondary level. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.
This position is 22.5 hours per week from about 9 : 30 AM to 2 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. The position comes with competitive hourly rates and benefit package including health insurance.
Essential duties
- Assist in preparation of hot and cold foods
- Serve lunch to students
- Perform daily cleaning including ware washing
- Cashiering
- Work closely with the Lead Manager, Director of Food Services, and other staff on a daily basis
