FLEET SERVICES SUPERVISOR
Position Description
The purpose of this position is to oversee and coordinate the City’s fleet operations and activities. This is accomplished by overseeing shop operations, preparing written bid specifications for the replacement of fleet vehicles and equipment, preparing and administering the budget and tracking fleet vehicle and equipment accidents. This position will also be responsible for the Fire maintenance division. Other duties include meeting State and Federal mandates and established legislation, coordinating personnel actions, disposing of fleet vehicles and equipment, administering contracts for outside services, administering support services activities and interacting with other City employees and citizens. This position works closely with the Lead Mechanic and provides input to prioritize work assignments for the Mechanics. This position provides direction to other employees and reports directly to the Manager.

What We're Looking For
- Six months to one year of education beyond high school.
- Six years of experience in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Valid TX Class C driver’s license.
- Certification in Automotive and Diesel Technology preferred.
