Job Opportunity: Full-Time Assistant Primary Teacher (Ages 3-6) at NRH Montessori
NRH Montessori is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Assistant Primary Teacher to join our vibrant Montessori community! As one of the most sought-after schools in North Richland Hills, we provide a year-round preschool program for children ages 3 months to 6 years old. Position Overview:
In this role, the Assistant Primary Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to implement Montessori philosophy and methodologies in the classroom. You will be responsible for preparing a stimulating and engaging learning environment, supporting lesson presentations, and ensuring students are actively engaged in developmentally appropriate activities. We are looking for someone who is energetic, patient, and enthusiastic about fostering young children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Assist with lesson presentations and guide students in Montessori-based activities.
- Encourage and support age-appropriate learning through hands-on activities and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents both in writing and verbally to share updates on student progress.
- Support with diaper changing, potty training, and other routine care tasks.
- Demonstrate patience and kindness while maintaining a positive, nurturing atmosphere.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful classroom culture in alignment with Montessori principles.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in Montessori or childcare settings is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and genuinely compassionate about working with children.
- Ability to pass a background check.
