JOB SUMMARY

We’re seeking an experienced and client-focused Private Client Account Manager who is responsible for managing and servicing high-net worth accounts, operating with the highest degree of professionalism, discretion, autonomy, and decision-making. This individual acts as a trusted advisor, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service to our high net-worth clientele. 


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES 

  • Manage and service a portfolio of high-net worth clients, ensuring insurance coverage aligns with the evolving needs of the client
    • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, claims assistance, and account documentation with accuracy and care
    • Answer questions regarding all lines of coverage, and assist with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billing
  • Support Risk Advisors by exercising independent judgment and discretion to:   
    • Analyze markets for competitive pricing and develop insurance solutions for current clients 
    • Review carrier quotes, look for gaps in coverage, prepare proposals, and maintain client applications
  • Work independently to provide advice and counsel to assigned accounts, and identify potential coverage gaps 
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and account reviews 
  • Work closely with underwriters, carriers, and others to negotiate policy terms and coverage 
  • Maintain client files and enter activity and other relevant documentation in the agency management system following standard company policies and procedures, ensuring #oneTEAM’s mission of service 
  • Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with partner insurance carriers
  • Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissions
  • Continue professional development; pursue and maintain licensing and designations as applicable 
  • Stay informed on market trends, carrier products, and regulatory changes to provide expert guidance

Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

  •  A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 3 years in private client service 
  • Active property & casualty insurance license required 
  • Strong knowledge of unique insurance coverages (yacht, helicopter, airplane, collective art, jewelry, etc)
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive attitude 
  • Exceptional communication, relationship building, and client service skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts 
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by example
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in agency management software and Microsoft Office suite

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Perform under normal office conditions; may include lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Twist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and reach frequently
  • Hear, speak, and effectively verbally communicate in the English language, including following oral and written instructions to communicate with people inside and outside of the organization
  • Sit and a desk for extended periods of time and perform long hours of work sitting at a computer
  • Move around office/building/facilities repeatedly throughout the day
  • Apply manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability, for computer keyboarding, office equipment uses, review of detailed reports, information, fine print, and warning labels
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to travel to different North Risk Partners locations for meetings, as well as various locations throughout the state and potentially the region for client meetings
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends to attend events and meetings as needed

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

Incumbents must be able to use telephones, calculators, copy machines, computers, printers, and other office equipment.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is primarily indoors. Exposure to a variety of weather conditions during work related travel and events held outside of the workplace will occur and I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree with the contents of this position description. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $71,000 annually, plus benefits. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
