Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician
Position Location: Burlington, VT
Job Description and Responsibilities
This position is 100% on-site
Report to Property Manager on all building maintenance issues related to mechanical, plumbing, security and electrical systems of two 100,000 square foot office buildings located on one campus.
Perform daily inspections and be proactive with solutions to basic maintenance issues.
Respond to tenant requests for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance repairs and promptly communicate with Property Manager when outside vendors are required.
Work with Property Manager to provide assistance on various building projects and tenant fit outs including attending meetings, carrying out project assignments and ensuring project completion deadlines.
Respond when necessary to after hour emergencies at the property.
Assist Property Manager with the purchasing of supplies and equipment.
Assist with the upkeep of exterior grounds and equipment.
Qualifications for Facility Maintenance Technician
Basic computer skills for submitting invoices, email and monitoring BMS.
Basic understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
Good interpersonal skills necessary to interact professionally with employees and tenants.
Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Desire to take ownership along with the Property Manager in providing a clean, safe and pleasant environment for everyone at the property.

401-K Participation You will be eligible to participate in our company 401-K program after 30 days of employment. Detail will be provided by Jose Gonzalez.
Vacation and Holiday: A holiday list is provided each year. After six months of employment you will be entitled to (1) week of vacation time. Moving forward, we expect you to take two (2) weeks of vacation in each calendar year under the theory that a fresh mind and rested body work more energetically. There are limited sick or personal days set aside for employees. If you have a need of such, you can take them.
Salary
$50,000 starting salary with discretionary year-end bonus.
