RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring an analytical skill set with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, analytical/statistical techniques, and PowerBI visualizations to address emerging challenges, ad-hoc requests or to proactively identify data visualization opportunities.
- Leverage PowerApps and other data analytics and user experience skills to construct visually pleasing, rich data connections to various sources including but not limited to HTML Application, JavaScript, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Excel.
- Ability to Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Create and build dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insight into areas of organizational interest.
- Support development of workflows, integrations, and applications using the Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Test, validate visualizations to ensure accurate prediction of outcomes of interest.
- Utilize and maintain data dictionaries to understand complex data sets.
- Independently support activities on the full software development lifecycle– including design, development, unit testing, quality assurance, deployment, security hardening, and maintenance–for PowerBI and other Power Platform applications.
- Work closely on a day-to-day basis with Federal staff and end users to understand needs, communicate status, and implement accordingly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years Microsoft Power Platform development experience (Power Apps experience is required)
- 5 years developing analysis and visualizations with PowerBI
- 4 years using quantitative, analytical, or statistical techniques to model and visualize data
- Demonstrated capacity to work closely with clients/end users
- Strong communication skills
- Engagement experiences with senior-level Stakeholders, as well as with End-Users.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Agile development software methodology
- Database or data warehouse development experience (Dataverse)
- Federal consulting experience
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
