About the Role
As a Pediatrics Front Office Specialist, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, helping families navigate their healthcare experience with ease and positivity. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a smooth and efficient front office while delivering exceptional service to patients and their families.
Position Details
- Part-Time: 24-30 hours per week
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, rotating Saturday mornings, and regular business hours
- Location: On-site in Seattle, WA
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide accurate information to families.
- Check patients in, verify insurance, and assist with necessary forms.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Manage administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
- Assist with billing and payment processing while maintaining confidentiality.
- Foster a positive atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.
Reports to: Clinic Administrator
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
