About the Role

As a Pediatrics Front Office Specialist, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, helping families navigate their healthcare experience with ease and positivity. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining a smooth and efficient front office while delivering exceptional service to patients and their families.

Position Details

  • Part-Time: 24-30 hours per week
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, rotating Saturday mornings, and regular business hours
  • Location: On-site in Seattle, WA

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and families warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide accurate information to families.
  • Check patients in, verify insurance, and assist with necessary forms.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
  • Assist with billing and payment processing while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.

Reports to: Clinic Administrator

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
