What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at North Shore Condo Hotel / RRJP?
Come join the team!! We have a unique property to care for. We are a relatively small property with a high expectation level on super clean condo's. We have a small, welcoming staff. We are looking for 2-3 individuals to join our team who have a keen eye for detail and enjoy housekeeping duties. We love our team members - also known as the North Shore Inn Condo Hotel Family. They are the foundation of our business and we do everything in our power to keep a happy, fun, and productive work environment. We have very tenured training staff who can provide great training, knowledge and expertise to guide you. Our housekeeping team is a key ingredient to our success and reputation of the property.
The starting wage is $15-17/hr plus a $2 bonus per hour worked. Bonus is dependent on team members ability to show up on time for scheduled shifts.
We value experience and will consider it in wage negotiations.
Purpose:
To clean guest rooms and building interior with a high degree of quality cleanliness.
Essential Functions:
- Clean rooms assigned for the day in an efficient manner
- Assist team members to complete all rooms to be cleaned for the day
- Clean building interior, including but not limited to lobby, public restrooms, hallways, common areas, as directed
- Keep housekeeping areas, including carts, closets, and storage areas, clean and organized
- Assist in exterior cleanliness, including but not limited to picking up trash, straightening lawn and beach chairs, and cleaning windows.
- Assist in laundry operations, including washing, folding, and stocking necessary daily linen.
Additional Duties:
- Assist guests in an emergency situation.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Physical ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Good written and verbal skills to communicate to staff, ability to read and follow directions
- Punctuality and performance based desire to make our property shine
Job Type: Full-time and Part time available
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour with bonus criteria met.
