INTERNSHIP SUMMARY

The Summer Healthcare Intern (SHI) will learn aspects of healthcare administration with seasoned guidance from the Administrator, Department Heads and Consultants. The SHI provides non-clinical support and department head leadership to assigned Monarch Healthcare Management facilities, floating to facilities in need or assigned to one specific facility to gain perspective of operations with the goal of preparing to work in a department head or administration role. Responsibilities of the Summer Healthcare Intern are similar to the Administrator and / or department heads; please see attached Administrator job description addendum, outlining the Administrator role and responsibilities. The SHI role will last no more than 90 days over the course of the summer, at which time the SHI will return to school.
