Job Description
We are seeking a certified pool technician to maintain and service four pools at a multifamily property. The ideal candidate will have experience in pool maintenance, be familiar with pool equipment, water chemistry, and safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Inspect, clean, and maintain all four pools regularly.
- Monitor water quality, testing, and balance chemicals according to industry standards.
- Perform routine equipment checks, including pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Ensure compliance with local and state health and safety regulations.
- Document maintenance activities and report any pool equipment issues or needed repairs.
- Respond to any pool-related concerns or emergencies promptly.
- Maintain pool area cleanliness and safety (emptying trash, checking for debris, etc.).
- Keep up to date with best practices for pool care and new technologies.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent certification (required).
- Previous experience in pool maintenance, ideally at a multifamily or commercial property.
- Knowledge of pool chemistry and water testing equipment.
- Familiarity with pool filtration systems, pumps, and heaters.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Additional certifications related to pool maintenance.
- Previous experience working in a multifamily or large property setting.
