Job Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Kewaunee Health Services, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, providing nursing care to residents/patients and taking advantage of career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for assigned residents/patients for a shift of duty, under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or DON.
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the resident's/patient's plan of care.
- Supervise the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and manage the environment to maintain resident/patient safety.
Requirements:
- Licensed in the State as an LPN
- Must have and maintain current CPR certification
- Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Able to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
