We are seeking a caring, experienced and dynamic teacher to join our Middle School Judaic Studies faculty. An ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a head teacher teaching Judaic Studies. Our teachers are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues. An ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for teaching Torah and a love of teaching middle school aged children.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
BA required, MA degree in education preferred
Experience in middle school school preferred, new teachers welcome to apply as we provide mentoring and support
Hebrew fluency required
A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains
A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Believes in a student-centered approach to teaching and learning
Will be a role model for Jewish living for the students
Salary Range: $60,000-85,000
