Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

What We Offer
The Anesthesia Technician assists licensed anesthesia providers in the preparation, maintenance and must have a thorough knowledge of the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of anesthesia delivery systems, monitors, and ancillary devices. They assist in the acquisition, preparation, assembly, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Demonstrates practical knowledge and expertise in all areas of anesthesia. The certified anesthesia technician is knowledgeable of all guidelines, policies, and safety requirements as determined by all relevant regulatory and standards setting agencies and organizations. Possessing an understanding of anatomy and physiology as it applies to anesthesia care. Performing effectively in the areas where anesthesia is provided, assist the licensed anesthesia provider with patient assessments, evaluations, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management. Takes emergency call as assigned by department head. Works assigned shifts but may be asked to work beyond the regular tour of duty as assigned by department head or nursing supervisor.
(Training, Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities)
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required.
Anesthesia Technician Certification preferred.
ASATT certification (Certified Anesthesia Technician) preferred. Purpose, use and care of physiological monitors relating to the administration of anesthesiaReliability, ability to adapt to a variety of specialized anesthesia equipment, flexibility in working with various medical professionals. Primary work schedule will vary according to staffing and Anesthesia Schedule needs. Effective oral and written communications skills in the English language. Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition.Ability to perform effectively in fast paced, stressful environment.

One-year experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.
