Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Schedule: Full time Days - (ON CALL)

Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.
We service a multitude of patients and their families across our vast network, while remaining committed to the professional development of our staff, the functional improvement of our patients, and the cultivation of strong partnerships within our communities.
What We Offer
The Cath. Lab Tech performs all routine diagnostic and emergent therapeutic angiographic or catheterization procedures. Assures equipment is functioning properly. Produces and evaluates data, information and images used by the physician in the performance of the procedure. Assists team members in all aspects of patient care, monitoring patient's vital signs, interpreting status information and performing functioning in one or more of the following: monitor, scrub, or circulating technologist. Educates patients, family members and cath team. Stocks inventory and all other duties as assigned.Assists with scrubbing and monitoring diagnostic and interventional procedures, electro physiological studies, and pacemaker insertions. Assists in setting up and breaking down equipment. Performs thermodynamic calculations for patient reports. Trained in treating patients with adult cardiac diseases.

Medium Physical Agility Test (PAT) RatingWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) required to stand, sit, and walk; occasionally (activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job

Position Qualification
- Graduate of a cardiovascular technology program or equivalent.
- Successful completion of the Certified Cardiovascular Technologist certification exam. Certification required.
- RCIS required.
- Two years Cardiac Catheterization Interventional Lab experience preferred.
- An ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Current BLS Card and Current ACLS Card
- Experience with physiological monitoring systems, sterile scrub technique, interventional and diagnostic heart catheterizations and pacemaker implantations.
