Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
North Shore Resort a prominent resort in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the general appearance of the property in accordance to company policy and inspection requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and report those to the supervisor.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, carpet/floor cleaning, changing light bulbs, plunging and/or repair toilets, painting, and light cosmetic repairs.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of require tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Proven 1-2 year experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of general hand tools and equipment preferred.
• Must be able to frequently change from one task to another based on guest needs.
• Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing and repair.
• Frequent lifting, bending, stretching, reaching, climbing and walking in all types of weather conditions and temperatures.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
