We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team in east Houston. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers and employees and is responsible for creating a welcoming environment and performing a variety of tasks to support daily operations. Work hours are 7:45 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities
- Welcomes visitors in a friendly manner and notifies appropriate staff members of arrival
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to the appropriate staff member
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and distributes items
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
- Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for leadership
- Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings
- Maintains stock of kitchen and office supplies
- Creates purchase orders for office supplies and general needs
- Keeps the reception area and common areas clean and tidy
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Previous experience in an administrative receptionist role
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Professional communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
