VOLUTEER OPPORTUNITY -

As a federally qualified health center and NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home, NSCHC must follow-up with patients on their medical referrals. This opportunity would involve calling patients and documenting the outcome of the conversation in the EMR. If you are a student needing clinical hours or a retired nurse who would like to give back, we encourage you to contact us about this opportunity! Please note that this opportunity requires completion of specific compliance modules (e.g. HIPAA), administered by NSCHC, before beginning.

VOLUNTEER IMPACT

NSCHC was created by three compassionate physicians and multiple community partners and volunteers in 1993. It now serves over 4000 patients, 13% of them are uninsured. Many patients would benefit from additional support to navigate the health care system so they can obtain the care they need for the best health outcome. This opportunity specifically impacts patients and their health.
