What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at North Slope Borough?
Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products, such as equipment, pipelines and/or vehicles.

Weld and repair heavy equipment and Fabricate parts and cut with oxy-acetylene torch.
Operate electrical and welding equipment.
Maintain work area and equipment and follow all safety standards and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of North Slope Borough organization, operations, policies and procedures.
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.) or the equivalent.
Welding Certificate from an accredited technical school or two years of welding work experience.
