NSTI is looking for Material Handlers with the expertise of processing materials, including organization and attention to detail. Are you a motivated individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments? We are looking for Material Handlers to join our team in Anchorage on a Monday-to-Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts and the possibility of overtime. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in handling materials, ensuring safe and timely deliveries, and managing stock. A 2-year contract commitment is required.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating vehicles and mechanized equipment, the ability to identify basic hand tools and equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining safety standards.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Active and valid Driver’s License required; CDL preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Experience in the telecom or utility industry is a plus.
Skills:
- Move freight, stock, and other materials using trucks, forklifts, or by hand.
- Complete required documentation for shipping and receiving materials.
- Pick up and deliver materials and equipment to local work sites, coordinating with Project Managers and Site Leads.
- Sort cargo before loading/unloading, inspect for compliance and damage, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Stack and secure cargo for transport using protective devices.
- Maintain equipment and storage areas to ensure inventory is protected.
- Operate hand tools, forklifts, and mechanized equipment safely.
- Adhere to safety protocols and complete required training and reports.
