We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K / Kindergarten Prep Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote holistic development.
- Educate children in various subjects, focusing on literacy education, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education support.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student learning and prepare reports as necessary.
- Organize activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of literacy education techniques and physical education for young children.
- Ability to provide tutoring support for children needing extra assistance.
- Knowledge of standardized testing processes for early childhood education is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents alike.
