Summary: This is a full-time position in Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate will be residing in the DMV area.This position plays a crucial role in supporting and executing a comprehensive community engagement program. This role requires the ability to effectively plan and coordinate a variety of events, from small internal gatherings to large-scale external engagements with high-level dignitaries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive community engagement support for internal and external events, including:
- Orchestrating approximately 15-30 engagement events annually
- Fostering connections with internal and external audiences, including the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Secretary of the Navy, international partners and dignitaries, Congress, local elected officials, industry leaders, and other influential individuals and entities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of visit agendas, sequences of events, taskers, and letters of instruction for distinguished individuals, command events, and anniversaries
- Support all aspects of internal and external communications and marketing outreach activities related to engagement events
- Provide logistical support for events, including:
- Coordinating transportation
- Managing multimedia and visual information support
- Providing day-of preparation and support for events
- Assisting the Protocol Officer in ensuring events adhere to military traditions and protocol
- Assist in managing the setup of all exhibits and associated items (i.e., panels, backdrops, displays, tables, computers, mannequins) for engagement events
- Assist in communicating conference and/or meeting results to internal or external audiences at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Event Planning, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in event planning, coordination, and execution
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with military protocol and etiquette (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
