Job Title: Direct Support Professional Community Living Specialist
North Star is seeking Direct Service Provider Community Living Specialists (DSP-CLP) The role of DSP-CLS is to engage the clients you will be working with who have physical or mental disabilities and need assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and transportation, as well as providing support with recreational activities, community integration. As a Community Living DSP, you will work in the in-home providing support services. You will be aiding clients in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with socialization and recreational opportunities for clients served
- Provide transportation as needed
- Dispense medications
- Document services provided
- Relate to persons served and their families, supportive leadership and on-the-job training

Wednesday 10 pm to 9 am Thursday -
Thursday 10 pm to 9 am Friday
Friday 10 pm to 10 am Saturday
Saturday 10 pm to 10 am

Must be able to use own vehicle (mileage reimbursement available), insured, and have an acceptable driving record. Criminal history and dependent abuse check required.
