We are currently seeking applications for Day Habilitation Specialist FLOATER to supervise leisure activities with persons with disabilities at Canterbury Center and Newel Post Adult Day Services and Waterloo's Day Hab Program.
No experience? No problem. We can teach you everything you need to know. We just ask for a high school diploma or equivalent.
This flexible position can be customized to the hours you want to work each week!! Part-time to Full-time. NO nights, weekends, or holidays!
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide support to persons served
- assisting with accommodations for personal hygiene needs or feeding as required
- Led social and educational activities
- working on planned goals and objectives
- documenting services provided
