North Star is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to manage our Track and Trace support function located in the business campus at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester Maine. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering, tracking, and reporting on the operational activity of the business. The Account Coordinator is an entry level position at our company. Even if you are new to the transportation industry, this position's intention is to allow for growth in knowledge and skills with the intention to eventually be promoted. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all inbound communications to the company.
- Record, file, and organize information flowing into shared inboxes.
- Record and maintain customer information within our customer service database.
- Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partner carriers and their driver through multiple channels of effective communication.
- Problem solve and troubleshoot all customer inquiries that the team receives.
- Use a Transportation Management System, web portals, and emails in order to provide real time updates and analysis on operational activities such as shipping and receiving.
- Utilize the use of reporting tools to deliver root cause analysis and measure key performance indicators.
- Monitor and report out on abnormal route conditions and provide timely feedback to all internal and external channels.
- Other projects may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Certifications, & Skills:
- Education: High School Diploma (Required)
- Customer Service Work Experience of 1 year or greater (Preferred)
- Supply Chain Work Experience of 1 year or greater (Preferred)
- U.S. Driver’s License (Required)
- Effective communicator
- Time Management
- Detail Oriented
- Fast Learner
- Supply Chain experience / understanding
