North Suffolk's Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) - Mobile Crisis Intervention Program is looking for a Mobile Crisis Clinician ( Weekend and / or Overnight Per Diem) at our East Boston location! The Mobile Crisis Clinician provides direct emergency psychiatric clinical services to youth and their families and coordination / consultation to other care providers also involved, in collaboration with other emergency services staff.
This is a mobile position, with the expectation of some on-site shifts and on-site response. Overnight hours : 11pm-7am.
What you'll do :
- Provide support, coordination of disposition planning and treatment service for the duration of the MCI episode of care according to clinical need.
- Fulfill aspects of YMCI (Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention) ESP specifications, which require in-home crisis intervention with youth and families.
- Coordinate follow up with other staff members of the Emergency Services Program to insure needs of youth and family are met to reduce crisis.
- Provide direct mobile and on site psychiatric clinical services in coordination with other community service providers.
- Evaluate clients in terms of setting and treatment plan which includes evaluation and developing a treatment plan.
- Asses crisis or emergency situations and intervene immediately with appropriate treatment for clients.
What you'll need :
Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or other relevant Medicaid reimbursable clinical specialty required.
Minimum one (1) year in a psychiatric emergency service or similar setting required.
