Front Desk Administrator

Job Overview:
North Summit Climbing Gym is an indoor rock climbing gym located in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time position and is the face of NSCG when people walk in the door. Responsibilities include checking in customers, data entry into Rock Gym Pro and ongoing reporting, inventory maintenance, volunteer and class coordination, scheduling and tracking of students, answering phone and oversight of general email box, group and party bookings and details, and other office duties. Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a smile as they enter the building
- Educate customers about climbing and our pricing packages
- Check in climbers through our database system
- Supply and suit customers with harnesses and shoes for proper fit
- Answer phone and return/triage all phone messages
- Participate in cleaning the facility before opening
- Make sure entry area is tidy, signage is clear, and retail items are neat, priced, and viewable
- Maintain waiver forms/iPad tablets as needed
- Maintain a comprehensive list of vendors, contact info, order sheets, history of orders, etc.
- Keep retail and display cases clean and organized
- Work with customers to sell retail items and climbing gear
- Maintain retail inventory levels
- Receive and process retail stock, add to inventory and record and contact customers on orders
- Maintain excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Report all accident/incidents properly and in a timely manner
- Respond at all times with professionalism
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
Ability to work nights/weekends
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and the management team
- Punctual and reliable
- Customer service experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
