Position: Accounts Payable Hours: Full-TimeSummary: Accounts Payable clerk provides administrative and clerical support for a company’s financial needs. Must track outgoing payments, monitor company expenditures, maintain records and verify expense reports. These are only a few of responsibilities for an accounts payable department.
Requirements :
- Must pay attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Mathematical skills are crucial for handling financial data
- Computer skills, essential
- Data entry skills for entering invoices, expense reports, ledgers and purchase orders,etc.
- Organizational skills are a must to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying issues and finding effective solutions
- Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis
- Maintain a large number of vendors accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma. Associates degree in Accounting preferred
- 2-3 years experience with accounts payable orgeneral accounting in a health care setting helpful
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- High degree of attention to detail
