What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Database Administrator position at North Talent Group?

Note: Must be available for off-hours work at the customer site when required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and related infrastructure.
- Perform database creation, migration, tuning, and performance monitoring.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize queries.
- Support IT issues, including hardware diagnostics and networking configurations.
- Install patches, security updates, and maintain system integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics 10 years of experience.
- Experience with Oracle DBMS, AWS RDS/Aurora, PostgreSQL, and Oracle GoldenGate.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting skills.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Linux, Dell/Cisco products, VMware, and Loadrunner.
- Knowledge of database security, system vulnerabilities, and materialized views.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills.
- Cloud experience/certifications are a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
