Position’s Role Summary:
NTBHA is the Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) contracted by Texas Human Services Commission (HHSC) to provide mental health and substance use disorder services to qualified indigent consumers.
NTBHA is responsible for developing a collaborative system of care for individuals in crisis. We are focused on trauma-informed, resilience-oriented care in all services provided.
You will have had exposure to various parts of HR in your previous roles, and enough confidence and experience to make decisions accordingly. This role requires working collaboratively, with strong communication, a heightened attention to detail, superb organization and collaboration.
We are a dynamic and fast paced organization and are looking for an HR Generalist who is excited about the HR function.
General Duties of the HR Generalist are:
- Benefit Administration, Payroll, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance management, Employment Law
Job duties, responsibilities, and skills:
- Provide a full range of HR consulting services, including employee relations, organizational design and development, talent acquisition and performance management.
- Proven ability to prioritize the most impactful work amidst multiple competing priorities.
- Success in leading and managing projects.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risk effectively.
- Ability to work both strategic and hands-on.
- Although this role does not involve working directly with clients directly, we want someone with compassion, that understands what our organization represents and what we do.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
- 1 - 2 years of working with Relias a plus.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar software system
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in different HR roles.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
