Field IT Technician

North Texas Bells, our Taco Bell division and North Texas Wings, our Wingstop division are hiring experienced and motivated IT Technician/Installer to maintain and service technology related systems primarily in the North Texas area but travel to AL, AR, KS, MS, OK and/or TN to visit our other properties is a possibility. IT Technician Responsibilities:

• Installation, troubleshooting, repair and replacement of: Point of sales terminals; kiosks; card readers; cash drawers and printers; security camera systems; drive thru vehicle detection equipment; headset systems; digital menu boards; kitchen display or order management systems; overhead music speakers, amplifiers and cabling; networks, wired and wireless cabling and equipment.
• Proper cable management and ongoing cleanup of all equipment installation quality.
• Working with parent company and vendor support to resolve issues and fulfill projects.
• Preventive maintenance and quality testing.
• Maintaining professional relationships with associates, supervisors and support staff at all levels and locations of the company.
• Generating and maintaining thorough communication of all aspects of job responsibilities via email, photos, and file storage.
• Maintain schedule and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Positive recognition of peer performance via company recognition processes.
• Flexibility in scheduling to allow for completion of required tasks and ensure the proper function of restaurants.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in IT network cabling and equipment installation and support.
• 5 years of experience with PC and/or POS terminal installation and support.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Bilingual with Spanish is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, positive outlook, and team player.
• Self-starter, attention to detail, good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to travel.

Schedule: Can vary depending upon the need. Most days it will be (5) 8-hour days, but due to possible installation schedules it can be evenings/overnights/weekends/etc. Advance notice will be provided of any required travel or schedule changes.

Work Locations: Principally in North Texas, but travel to other states is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
