Job Description
We are seeking a Perioperative Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center team. As a valued addition to our company, you will provide quality care like family to patients preoperatively and postoperatively until discharge.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients' care area adequately before cases
- Evaluate the nursing care rendered preoperatively and postoperatively
- Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing and at least 1 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery. Online certification is not acceptable, and PALS certification may be required by the facility within 30 days of hire.
