Description
The Gift Services Specialist ensures the integrity of gift management and database administration utilizing a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) database and 3rd party integrations supporting key stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge Professional Certification or equivalent CRM database certification preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving competencies
- Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment where time management is key, and priorities are often changing
- Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro applications
- Working knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM database preferred
- Blackbaud Luminate and Omatic connector experience preferred
Experience
- Two years of related work with a donor CRM database
- Experience at a nonprofit organization is preferred
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Database and Systems Management
- Complete Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge Professional Certification with continued learning year-over-year through Blackbaud University, Omatic training, Blackbaud annual conference, and other development opportunities
- Prioritize CRM database competency to include import profile creation, batch templates, pledges payments, various database CRM modules, query/reporting, dashboard/lists, solicitor credits and prospect fundraisers, and custom field/attributes
Gift Management
- Manage key inbound revenue channels inclusive of research & financial analysis, reconciliation, and system commitment of full cycle, donor gift management including varied report development
- Develop and/or enhance assigned revenue channel process documents
- Build import profiles, queries, gift coding and mapping, and new donor profile creation
- Reconcile third party donor, matching gifts, and soft credits (est. 200 accounts)
- Support assigned special database projects and data hygiene projects
- Participate in team cross-trainings for CRM database and gift management learnings
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with an open floor plan with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
- Able to participate in events outside the traditional workday schedule on occasional evenings and weekends.
