Medical Front Desk Coordinator Role:
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist will work together with the Front Office Team. You are the first person patients connect with by either calling, messaging, or coming into our clinics. You will help set the pace and tone of the clinic by the greeting and service you provide to our patients and clients. Working in a fast paced, high demand setting is where you thrive. You have a passion for assisting others but also know the importance of following policies.

- 1 year's experience in a fast-paced medical office environment;
- Can skillfully schedule appointments, answer telephone calls, and respond to messages;
- Can multi-task efficiently by documenting, taking calls, greeting clients and taking payments.
- You are energetic, a self-starter who will serve patients by greeting and enjoy helping them;
- Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone with a smile, and answer or can triage inquiries;
- Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider/MA of patient' s arrival;
- Prepare charts/paperwork for patients;
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing, scanning, and retrieving patient records;
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information, verifying demographic information;
- Always practice privacy, confidentiality and HIPAA standards with all patient/client information;
- Requests financial co-pay, coinsurance, and balance from patients at time of arrival;
- Maintain clinic operations by following policies and procedures;
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of Medical Office receptionist experience is required.
- The ideal candidate will be friendly, intelligent, hard-working, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Fluently speak, read, and write English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills. Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
