Job Summary:
As a RN - Medical/Surgical (Nights), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in the medical-surgical unit. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments as per policy.
- Assess and reassess pain, utilize appropriate pain management techniques, and educate patients and families regarding pain management.
- Revise plans of care as indicated by patient responses to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Perform waived testing and interpret results, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current RN license in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification within the first 90 days.
- NIHSS certification within the first 90 days.
