Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. This dynamic role will focus on brand management, client acquisitions, communication, and event coordination. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, marketing partners, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Management:
- Schedule media appearances for our CEO and secure opportunities to feature the firm in publications aligned with our mission.
- Research and coordinate guest outreach for The Values Exchange Podcast, building relationships with potential guests to expand the podcast's reach.
- Work with a third-party social media company to drive engagement and growth across platforms, ensuring alignment with business development goals.
- Provide input and collaborate on campaigns that promote the firm's brand and services.
- Website Management:
- Partner with the website management company to maintain consistent messaging, ensure effective landing pages, and uphold the firm's brand identity.
- Monitor website updates to ensure alignment with marketing initiatives and client needs.
Communication:
- Prospect Outreach:
- Proactively manage the pipeline to help fill advisors' calendars with new opportunities.
- Conduct cold calls to generate leads and engage potential prospects.
- Pipeline Management:
- Follow up with prospects in the pipeline to schedule introductory meetings with financial advisors.
- Track and report on the progress of leads and outreach efforts.
- External and Internal Communications:
- Serve as a liaison to ensure consistent and clear communication with external partners, vendors, and prospects.
- Support internal communication efforts to align teams on key initiatives and priorities.
Events:
- Assist in planning and executing events to promote the firm's services, engage prospects, and enhance client relationships.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and marketing partners to ensure successful event execution.
- Develop creative event ideas that align with the firm's mission and enhance visibility in the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in financial services or a related industry.
- Experience with PR, media coordination, or podcast guest booking is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone and through written communication.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and social media management tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
