Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated faculty member to join our team. In this role, you will plan, teach, direct, and supervise student learning experiences in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical areas, following our accredited curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and implement the curriculum as assigned and supervised by your direct supervisor.
- Plan and assign student activities in classroom and clinical settings.
- Identify and address individual and collective learning needs of students.
- Maintain records of student progress, performance, attendance, and grades.
- Prepare, administer, and grade written and practical examinations.
- Develop and implement lesson plans through lectures, demonstrations, and discussions.
- Provide guidance and support to students, addressing their concerns and problems.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Program Director or designee.
- Assist students in developing values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
- Select and prepare instructional materials.
- Serve as a professional role model for students.
- Provide instruction to Pharmacy Technician classes.
- Prepare students for successful careers as Pharmacy Technician Assistants.
- Contribute to the ongoing review and development of curricula in the department.
- Attend orientations, staff meetings, and faculty meetings as scheduled.
- Monitor student progress and attendance.
- Willingness to serve as a professional role model for students.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates integrity and a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
- 3 years of experience in the field.
- PT Certification License.
- High School Diploma.
- Availability from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (makeup day as needed).
- 3 days virtual, 1 day (Wednesday) in person.
