POSITION PURPOSE :
To support the enforcement of the tariff actions and affiliated 301 Investigation Exclusion Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Identify and analyze products at issue from written descriptions, specification sheets, import records, images, and / or videos.
- Conduct research on products, organizations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) classifications, and import / export data.
- Evaluate and categorize product and business information against technical, quantitative, and qualitative criteria.
- Apply knowledge of market and industry trends to assessment of products and organizations.
- Utilize digital software for research, record keeping, and analysis.
- Manage large volumes of data.
