The company's focus is facilities operation and maintenance, waste management and radiological services, security control and force protection, and environmental services.
POSITION PURPOSE :
In support of the Northwind IT Infrastructure organization, this position will be part of a team responsible for Vulnerability Remediation for systems across the Hanford Local Area Network (HLAN), to include Laptops and Desktops. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Working with the Vulnerability Management team regarding the current status of the patching matrix.
- Direct End User\Customer communications for those workstations that need attention to remediate patches not applied during normal patching cycles.
- Working from vulnerability spreadsheet targeting specific vulnerabilities based on property number and severity level.
- Creating schedules to work with the End User\Customer to gain remote access to workstations to assist in the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Provide daily spreadsheet status to Vulnerability Management team of remediation effort.
- Familiarization with Department of Homeland Security Binding Operational Directives 22-01 (DHS BOD 22-10)
- Familiar with the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and their mission.
- Familiar with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and how they are determined.
- Review reports on CISA released CVE's and other vulnerabilities for vulnerability remediation efforts.
