Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is looking to hire a Full-Time Salaried Category Marketing Manager-Home & Hardware to join our team.  We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company.  We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self.  As a Category Marketing Manager-Home & Hardware at North 40, you will use their robust knowledge and enthusiasm for the category to spearhead marketing initiatives within the Home & Hardware category to drive sales and support strategic growth. They will be an integral part of the marketing team as a direct liaison to the corresponding Category Manager on the Purchasing Team.  

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a close relationship with the Purchasing Category Manager to support strategic growth initiatives and brands to meet sales goals 

  • Attend Category Manager meetings and bring actionable and value-added information back to the marketing team to spearhead initiatives 

  • Assist the Purchasing Category Manager to develop cooperative marketing plans 

• Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy including: 

  • Social media 

  • Email 

  • CRM: List management, giveaways, forms, workflows, customer profiles 

  • Lifestyle and studio photo shoots 

  • Content/blogging 

• Enhance e-commerce experience: 

  • Oversee the publication of items to the website through the category marketing specialist 

  • Develop and maintain standards for enhancing items on the website 

  • Ensure category landing pages are optimized and properly merchandised for the season 

  • Bring focus and excitement to both new and core items 

• Identify areas of opportunity within the category through use of sales reporting tools, Google Analytics, and HubSpot

• Robust knowledge and enthusiasm for the Home & Hardware category 

• Self-starter who thrives on managing a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment 

• Eagerness to learn, grow and solve problems 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

• Related digital marketing, e-commerce and photography experience a plus
